Periodicals Reading Room

Using the Reading Room and Borrowing
Reading Room is used for reading the magazines and newspapers and current periodical issues that are in open stacks.
The collection contains more than 8,500 titles in 700,000 volumes out of which about 5,200 are foreign serials, mostly in English, German, French and Russian.
For collections borrowing and using in the Reading Room you have to fill out a call slip. After that you will receive periodicals from the librarian. In return, you have to show them identity card or a passport.
Materials can be kept up to one month in the reading room. If it is not used for 10 days in a row, it will be returned to the shelf.
Before entering the reading room, patron should present their membership card and things they carry (purse, briefcase, etc.) in order to get the seat number for the reading room.
Food and drinks are not allowed in the reading room.
